Bank Holiday Weekend Rum Cocktails

What's better than a bank holiday weekend enjoyed with your favourite people? When you add some rum into the mix of course!

Now that we’re lucky enough to be reunited outdoors with our friends and family, now is the perfect time to crack open a bottle of Hawksbill (or restock if you need to!) and create some amazing drinks that you can all share together.

All of these cocktails taste amazing and are perfect for sharing. You could even give them all a try and see which one of you is the best bartender in the making…

Frozen Rum Punch

  • 50ml Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum

  • 25ml Lime Juice

  • 50ml Orange Juice

  • 50ml Pineapple Juice

  • A handful of Frozen British Strawberries

Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth. Looking for a slightly thicker consistency? Add in some extra ice.

Mai Tai

  • 25ml Rhubarb Gin (we recommend Slingsby)

  • 50ml Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum

  • 10ml Triple Sec

  • 10ml Lime Juice

  • 15ml Grapefruit Juice

  • 10ml Orgeat Syrup

  • 50ml Pineapple Juice

For this one, you'll need to shake everything together (first wet, and then dry) and double strain into a rocks glass; we like to go for something tiki style!

Hawksbill Daiquiri

  • 50ml Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum

  • 15ml Grapefruit Juice

  • 10ml Lime Juice

  • 1 Tsp Demerara Sugar

  • 5ml Maraschino Liqueur or Syrup

Our take on this rum classic is super easy to recreate. All you need to do is shake the ingredients together and then double strain into a martini glass. Garnish with some grapefruit zest if you’re feeling fancy!

Planter’s Punch

  • 35ml Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum

  • 20ml Lime Juice

  • 10ml Sugar Syrup

  • 5ml Grenadine

  • 3 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Simply shake all the ingredients together and strain over crushed ice into a rocks glass. Finish off by adding a splash of soda and a mint sprig to garnish. This makes one drink so you'll need to scale it up if you’re putting it into a serving pitcher.
